Other Commanders with additional combat steps are some real powerhouses. Eomer, Marshal of Rohan may only be able to get one extra combat per turn, but it isn’t hard to trigger it with a timeline sacrifice effect. The only question then becomes how much you can get out of extra combats in a mono red shell.
In my experience, that can be quite a lot, but it’s still hard to recommend Eomer over other options like Aurelia, the Warleader or Xenagos, God of Revels — there are plenty of commanders that can take better advantage of getting multiple combats in, but if you really want to lean into some sacrificial synergies on tom, Eomer is a killer option.
